Tips for Trade Show Success
Taking part in trade shows are always a good and effective marketing strategy, especially you have a unique product or service. Trade shows are opportunities to show ‘why you are better than others’, to get customer response and publicity, and also for getting media attention. Here are some tips for successful trade show marketing.
- Booth Design: Your booth must correspond to the product/service you are providing or your company’s public reputation. In general it must be simple but eye-catching.
- Peoples must identify you correctly. There is always limitation of time; and peoples will only stay for you if they can instantaneously understand what you are providing.
- Make a show special offer. Like a free trail or free sample.
- Collected customer details: like business cards and contacting addresses of interested peoples. It is also good to conduct a competition (like a draw) with a good prize for this purpose.
- Offer cheap but lovely things (like chocolates or balloons) for free to attract peoples.
- Make mutual partnerships with other booths. So that they can guide interested people to your booth, or can assist you in better presenting your products.
- Make good use of press releases, banners and newsletters to make your booth and show famous.
- Practice the above steps consistently.
