How to Create a Good Online Store?

Despite good web design, variety of quality products and competitive pricing, there are many things which make an online store good. While often online store sites are created according to owners’/designers’ tastes, making them successful entirely depends on the customers. Here are some tips to make your online store good and successful.

• First thing, your store must look like a store.
• Page neatness and easy navigation. Customers have to find/reach what/where they want at a glance or at lest with 2 clicks.
• Pages that depend entirely/mostly on flash can keep the customers away permanently. It is better to avoid flash entirely, or to limit it for your home page only.
• It is better to hire an SEO (Search Engine Optimization) analyst for a short time to ensuring your site, pages and codes are search engine friendly. Increased visibility means increased business.
• It is a bad practice to hide buy buttons or use low resolution buttons. It is also not so good to use flashing gifs or extreme animations for buy buttons or links. They can easily work against you.
• Use proper product, menu and submenu grouping so that things related can be find in related places. It is also good to concentrate on one page for a product.
• Avoid the use of popup and extreme advertisements.
• Highlight your brand, quality and punctuality. But never gave them too much importance.
