Advertising brochures are always been a good medium of advertisement, especially with the development of high-grade color printing technology. When prepared well, they help any business by making deep impacts on customer minds. Here are some tips for preparing a good ad brochure.
- Develop a color scheme and layout for your brochure that corresponds to your company status. Be sure not to use too many colors or color-schemes that lack ‘the impact’.
- Include basic requirements like company logo, products/services offered, contact information, etc, and place them in proper places, with respect to the attention they wanted.
- Write a header and/or headline in minimum words and make sure that it is easily readable, understandable, attention grabbing and uncommon.
- Write down the benefits of your company/product that you want to highlight in short sentences; if possible in imaged bullets.
- Make your message clear as much as possible. Tell possible customers what they have to do; if they are interested on your benefits.
- Use colorful, context-suited images that fit with your company status and the color scheme used.
- Use only one or two fonts and font colors for printing.
- Use capitalization, bullets, quotes, bold and italic texts, when ever they are needed. But never use them too much.
- Make your paragraphs short and meaningful.
- Keep enough space between lines, paragraphs, images, etc.
- Test sample ones with your employees, existing customers and friends and make changes according to their feedbacks.
