Different Types of Marketing Strategies

Marketing of business better than the competitor is the key to success of any type of business. There are different types and style of marketing strategies practiced around the globe. The right strategy for a business depends on its type, geographical location, territorial boundary, competition, resource, customer type, product type, etc. Below are some most practiced marketing methods.

  • Printed media like newspapers, magazines, etc.
  • Public media like television, radio, etc.
  • Internet based methods like web sites and blog.
  • Sales letters, newsletters, post cards, greeting cards, etc.

You can simply classify the above methods into two categories as one which require personal customer interaction and one which does not require it. The second category is best useful for companies offering high-grade products such as computers, softwares, etc.
