Do you believe that your workforce is working not sufficiently? or realize that one or more of your employees not enjoying the job they assigned, then it is time for you to work as a business manager. Simply speaking you have 4 choices in front of you.
- Continue with the present situation. Least suggested but most easy to follow solution. Wait in hope that things will change.
- Rectify the problems that workforce face. Many times the depression of employees is of some simple matters like technical failures, ineffective communication, lack of motivation, salary lagging etc. You can fix all that so your workforce can work freely again.
- Change the task or give new work. Many time employees suffocate in jobs that are not of their type. They always want to get rid of them and to stay away from them. Find that type of employees and assign them appropriate jobs as per their skill. It is estimated that most employees work better when they are out of work they disliked.
- Fire them out of work. Sounds harsh, but can become the most useful option with lazy workers; who harm the attitude of your whole workforce.
Again any decision have to the made after thorough analysis. Try to think from the employee perspective; and think twice making before any decision.
