High Performance Team Building Tips

Most business managers complain about their team’s performance, as they fail to achieve the sales targets. Most times the poor performance will be because of poor leadership or poor communication or poor taining. Below are some tips to build a high performance team.

  • Fist of all choose your team with respect to objectives
  • Know more about the team members – their abilities, skills, knowledge, dedication and inabilities.
  • Assign right tasks to right one.
  • Schedule meetings regularly; daily, if possible.
  • Try to be frank with them; people like to listen and follow friends than bosses.
  • Allow time for members to be settled down as a team.
  • Do not pressurize them with tight tasks right away.
  • Even if you are giving them a tight task; make them believe that it is easy and possible.
  • Applaud them when ever they finish a task on time and budget.
  • Communicate with them regularly; but not in an irritating way.
  • Never ignore team members whom you dislike or who you thought are less-working.
  • Find weak points and rectify them.
  • Always keep your head clean and cool and face smiling.

These tips may be difficult to follow, but you can make them practical with time. After all you know the requirement of a tem as you are always in a team.
