E-mail Management is Vital in Business Management

Most business managers today find it difficult to finish their duties on time, as most of their time is wasted on checking and answering emails. Now almost all business managers employ advanced mail management tools, but for most the problem has worsened.

Below are some tips to improve your business by effectively managing the time spent on email management.

  • Use an advanced mailing client, which automatically delete spam and unimportant e-mails
  • Stop rushing to your inbox whenever a new mail comes
  • Configure the mailing client to make lesser noises or to avoid pop-ups whenever a new mail comes
  • Allocate specific time for checking the mails; daily afternoon, if you receive less fairly important mails; 2 or 3 hours interval, if you receive large number of mails
  • Avoid checking mails in your busy and creative hours; say morning
  • Try to finish the work you are doing before entering to your mailbox
  • Tell your team members to send only urgent messages on busy hours
  • Try to use lesser number of simple and effective words when you are answering mails
  • Create some template answer mails to quick answering

These tips may be harder to follow. But following this for a week or so will make it a routine, and your mind will follow easily there after.
