Many corporate CRM's are built by the internal IT or marketing departments.  While these applications typically function well and make some pretty graphs, they do little to actually increase the performance of a salesperson.  In 2001, after several several failed attempts to implement a CRM in their company, a few frustrated sales people set out to create a tool that would actually help them sell more. 

 

Those very same sales people rode their success into management and began add to the application to help them understand what their sales team was doing on a daily basis.  From developing trend-based reporting to expanding eSalesTrack's unique funnel management tool to a hierarchal view, the same simple yet effective structure was carefully followed throughout all new development.

 

After countless requests to duplicate the product for the use of people who went to other companies, the team finally set off to make the tool that had made them so successful available to everyone in early 2004.

 

Since then, countless enhancements covering everything from Personal Business Plans (PBPs), Case Management, Marketing, Campaigns, collaboration, and much more have been made.
